I attended a two-day wedding photography course last week. Its run by Jeff Turnbull, I like his photography, he’s a good instructor and a decent bloke, so I enjoy his courses. Courses are important for a photographer. It helps stops your work from getting stale. It also allows the opportunity for a bit of experimentation with style. Taking 200 experimental shots at a real wedding isn’t the best idea in the world. On the course you get to see what the other attendees did and they get to see your work, another learning opportunity. An afternoon was spent taking wedding photographs at Prested Hall, near Colchester in Essex. I was pleased with a number images. This is one of the couple on a bridge over the lake in the grounds, the reflection works well.
